NAB Broker further improves mortgage processing times

According to NAB Brokers’ website, the turnaround times on obtaining an unconditional approval has been further improved over the last few months.

NAB Brokers has managed to improve their turnaround times from when we first reported on them taking 2 weeks to an unconditional approval (assuming you had everything you needed!)

The first downturn in service levels from NAB had been attributed to “Unprecedented volumes and a recent external supplier technology failure” which have impacted upon the service delivery and turnaround times.

Previous turnaround times can be viewed in this article, and in this article to be viewed here
According to the site the following turnaround times are in place:

* Electronically approved without LMI: 2 Business Days
* Credit Referred deal without LMI: 4 Business Days
* Electronically approved with LMI: 5 Business Days
* Credit Referred deals with LMI: 7 Business Days

We’d like to know how many people have found an noticeable increase in performance from the NAB. Let us know by commenting below!

Obviously the only noticeable thing about NAB Broker and their turnaround times, given the number of responses here, is that no-one has any recent experience beacuse they are not using them!!! LOL!!! No wonder they’re stating their turnaround times have reduced!

They’ve improved turn around times? They couldn’t get any worse, so it’s hardly news….

Maybe it’s got somehting to do with the fact that most brokers gave them the flick months ago…

Back in my banking career days the RBA was known as the
‘Lender of last Resort’
nowadays the NAB wins that award by a country mile, also a clear winner of the employer of last resort as well from what I hear.

23 working days for my last deal. 40% LVR. They can’t even tell me how to lodge a deal for a nab product

Where do NAB get this stuff from? They are kidding themselves! Service proposition from application to settlement is woeful and not much has changed in the last 2 years. Time for a reality check!
