MFAA Conference – How did you rate it?

The MFAA Conference is over for another year and what we’d really like to know is: How did you rate it?  Were you a sponsor/exhibitor?  Let us know what you thought.  Delegate? How did you find the discussions? Just visiting for the ExpoMart? Was it worth the trip for you?

Let us know your thoughts and comments on the conference and if you found it useful or not.

Don’t forget to vote on the poll as well!

How did you find the MFAA Conference for 2009?

  1. Found it “wanting” this year. Speaker cancelled (Mr North no less), expo mart had limited stands (although booked out??) only 1 day of STREAMS, second day closed early and all meals were well and truly over catered. Numbers were well and truly down on previous years and as always hardly any brokers. Perspectives is right now if only the MFAA could get it’s perspectives right. Will wait for next year’s agenda but at this stage would probably err on the not going again.

  2. Agree completely with Oz Boy. It was the worst attended conference in the history and was by far the least interesting. The expo was a wasste of time and I think the sponsors would definitely be rethinking spending money on it again next year. The MFAA had better smarted up their act for next years conference in Melbourne. Disappointed, very disappointed.

  3. Having been to a number of MFAA conventions, I thought this one was excellent. Some intelligent speakers and the mood was very positive. The EXPO was lacking some of the big banks (ANZ, WESTPAC) however looked full and was most informative for me.

Well Done to the MFAA as we (the participants) only get out of these things what we put in..

  5. MFAA conference is always the best networking event on our calendar. Like any conference you get out of it what you put in. I’ve been every year and learn so much in the Expomart from lenders and suppliers that it allows me to re-position my business for the coming year. Just hope all the Banks take a stand next year as there were some obvious absences.
