The pain continues for mortgage holders .. with two more big lenders lifting their variable home loan rate above the increase made by the Reserve Bank last week.

The ANZ .. and St GEORGE .. have lifted their rates this afternoon by 35 basis points .. to 9.37 per cent.

That’s ten points above the RBA increase .. and matches the increase made by the Commonwealth Bank yesterday.

The ANZ increase kicks in tomorrow .. St GEORGE’s on Thursday.
